All our angling is Catch & Release, and barbless hooks are required. THERE CAN BE GREAT JOY IN WATCHING A BEAUTIFUL FISH SWIM AWAY FROM YOUR CRADLING HANDS. Man is the only predator who has a choice, a choice to forgo the kill in order to improve the quality of his sport. Thank you for joining us in embracing the concept of “pursuit-and-momentary-capture” sport fishing.

No smoking is allowed in the rooms or in the main lodge building.

If you plan to use the swimming pool or spa, please bring a beach towel and swimsuit. Comfortable slip-ons or slippers will fill the bill around the lodge. The atmosphere is extremely homey and you’ll soon become part of the family. Our meals are based on chef’s choice and focus on achieving the best of both worlds, food that is healthy and satisfying. Dinnertime is based on “Match the Hatch” but normally 6:30 p.m.

What To Bring
It gets very warm during the summer; however, the grounds around the lodge are heavily shaded so the spring and fall can get very cold. Consider warm and casual clothing. A pair of tennis shorts and/or hiking boots is recommended. Include personal hygiene items, flashlight, tennis rackets and tennis balls if you plan to play.

Don’t forget a current California fishing license. They are not always available at the lodge. If you need a fishing license be sure to call the lodge directly at 530-474-1943 to reserve one.

Room check out by 11:00 a.m. You are welcome to fish until 2:00 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are included on day of departure.
