Our address is 32400 HWY 36E, PAYNES CREEK, CA 96075

From The San Francisco Bay Area
Take Highway I-80 East to Vacaville, then to Highway #505 North to Highway I-5 North to Red Bluff. Take the Lassen Park Exit in Red Bluff to Highway 36E, left turn onto 36E. Travel approximately 28 miles (go 6.2 miles pass Paynes Creek). Just before you come to 32400 HWY 36E there is a highway sign that reads “Mineral 13 Miles”. Make a left onto the Oasis Springs Road. You will be going through three unlocked gates. It’s very important that you leave the gates as you found them, (closed or open). During the Spring and Summer months there are cattle on the ranch. Stay on the gravel road for 5.5 miles. You’ll come to a barn on the right and a trapshooting platform on the left. The lodge is located 1/5 mile downhill from the barn and trap platform.

Notice Once on 36E you should be traveling North. If you are heading South you have missed the Lassen Park turn off and are heading to Chico on Highway 99E. After you pass the town of Paynes Creek, if you encounter the 3000-elevation marker on HWY 36E, you have missed the entrance gate by 1/2 mile.

From Sacramento & Los Angeles
Take Highway I-5 North to Red Bluff and follow the above directions from Lassen Park Exit.

From Reno
Take I-395 North to Susanville to HWY 36W for about 80 miles and look for the 3000 elevation sign on HWY 36. We’re 1/2 mile west of the elevation sign/marker. Turn right into Oasis Springs Road and follow the above directions.

PLEASE NOTE
There is NO GAS in Paynes Creek or at the Lodge. Please fill up your gas tank in Red Bluff if you’re coming from I-5, or fill up in Susanville if you’re coming from I-395.

Ranch Road
The six miles of gravel road in the ranch is safe to drive on as long as you drive slowly and carefully, especially on turns. Once you see the barn and trap platform, gear down to save your brakes (1/5 mile) downhill to the lodge.

Notice
After you get off I-5 and on to HWY 36E (Lassen Park exit), to stay on Hwy 36E look for a real sharp left turn about 2 miles after the I-5 turn off; otherwise you’ll be going south to Chico (Hwy 99).

Airport Shuttle
Shuttle service is available between Oasis Springs and the airport. Ask for arrangements.

Inquire about helicopter service from the Bay Area.
